They say that "Behind every great man is an even greater woman", which couldn't be more true. But, ladies, we know we cannot change a man's nature. So how do we nurture them to exist happily with us in the twenty-first century?

It's easy to develop romantic feelings for people you work with.  After all, the two of you spend tons of time together, and you're both working toward the same goals.  But there are some risks involved with dating a coworker (that's why companies often advise against it).  So before you start getting busy with someone you should be keeping busy with, ask yourself these questions:

The Great Dane

Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane isn't the dog you think he is.  Or, is he .... ?

Unless you're unconscious, odds are you've reveled in one of Eric Dane's sweat-inducing struts down the hospital corridors on Grey's Anatomy, which he plays Seattle Grace's resident cad, plastic surgeon Dr. Mark, "McSteamy" Sloan.  This month, he takes his smoldering act to the big screen in Marley & Me, the film adaptation of John Grogan's best-selling memoir.  As inveterate skirt-chaser Sebastian (hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right ladies?), Dane convinces his friend (Owen Wilson) that a dog is the best cure for his wife's baby fever.

Scientist have debated the extent to which our brains are sculpted by either our genetic inheritance (nature) or our environment and experiences (nurture).  In other words, what determines our destiny: heredity or environment?  Your brain at birth is certainly not a blank slate waiting to be written on by life's experiences.  Nor are you born with genetics that dictate that way you will behave, act, react, think, feel, and create in a predetermined, unchangeable pattern.

Ladies, funny, we usually only find "two great things in one" in something like...

Lipstick-lip gloss combo.  Or perhaps a shampoo-conditioner combo.  And, if you're bad, uh uhm...  the "spoiled diva" mani/pedi combo.

But how about a man that offers two great things in one?  And it actually comes in a really large package!  Even if it didn't, it's still all good, right?

Ladies, we have to teach our men how to love and how to take care of us.  If we do not, then how will they ever learn.  But, most importantly, we must be willing to completely nurture them.  We are all in this together, and we must all show each other love.

Love is the greatest gift to man.  So, let's love him today.

For what it's worth, laugh today, okay!
